From The President"s STATE OF THE NATION ADRESS, July 23, 2007

The Aklan-Libertad-Pandan Road, waiting for Japan to approve the contractors, will connect Boracay to the nature park we declared in Northwest Panay Peninsula. We are improving other Panay roads...

See the pictures posted to check out the improvement.

Bagtos It Pandan: Raymund Gumboc Informs

Good thing we have siblings like SB Monmon who helps. Here's what he told me on this Pandan-Libertad Project:

my friends at the municipal hall said that the Pandan Libertad Road Project is "technically" on its implementation. they aren't sure of what is the problem.

even the governor and the congressman who had organized a ground breaking ceremony in two separate occassions way back before the 2004 elections could not explain the delay. (TWO SEPARATE GROUND BREAKING CEREMONIES BECAUSE THE GOVERNOR AND THE CONGRESSMAN HATE EACH OTHER? I'M WRITING THIS AS A QUESTION.)

i don't know if they are hiding something or what. (IS SOMETHING HERE READS: THE MONEY? I'M WRITING THIS AS A QUESTION.)

i suggest you request your press friends to follow up the status of the project with the DPWH Projec Management Office in charge of the Phillipine Japan Highway loan. according to the DPWH website they could be contacted through telephone number +632-304-3679.thank you very much and as soon as i get additional info i will text or send you an email. please reply on my email add: rgumboc@yahoo.com

God Bless!

I and a fellow Pandananon colleague are trying to work on this issue.
